Profiteroles

The three big profiteroles were thick and gloopy. Thousands of tiny drops made a pool of chocolate sauce. The cream was sandwiched between the crusty and crunchy pieces of cake. The chocolate covered morsels were delightful. They tasted soooo sweet that they made me feel sick.

  1. Kia Ora Michael,
Great writing. I was wondering what profiteroles were. I liked the way you used really descriptive words to describe what you saw and especially how you felt after you ate it. Did you make these in your classroom?

  2. Great description Michael. My students are writing descriptions in our class (Room 5, Hinuera School in Matamata) at the moment, and I am going to share your post with them tomorrow. I hope that the language that you have used to describe the profiteroles will help the kids expand their vocabulary too... those profiteroles look pretty tasty to me!
