Term 2 2017 - Matariki Design and Technology
Term 2 2017 and we are learning about design and technology through the theme of Matariki. The team 3 teachers have made this movie to hook the kids in to a Matariki story called Tamarereti.

Riding on the Bike Track
One of our favourite things to do is to ride on our brand new bike track. We've been learning to wear our helmets, check our bikes and to make sure we've got the right clothes on.
Each time we go for a ride we have races, play games and have spectacular crashes. We really love bike riding - Thanks Mr J for our amazing bike track and thanks Whaea Saf for the cute movie.

Te Taiao O Tamaki
The boys have been learning about how the simple act of picking up rubbish can make a huge difference to the health of our environment.
As part of our learning we have made these stop motion animations using I Can Animate, Garageband, iMovie and good old fashioned paint, paper and popsicle sticks.

School Picnic 2017
Our annual school picnic was held last Friday at Pt England Reserve. We had too much summertime fun. Enjoy seeing what we got up to.

Top Schools 2017
Yesterday was the annual Top Schools event held by Rotary at Churchill Park School. Pt England came first in both the year 3/4 and year 5/6 categories. Go Pt England!
