Term 3 Immersion

Team 3 is learning about time this term. We're learning how time is an organisational tool to help us "tame" the science around us.

The teachers took it upon themselves to detail the Days of their Lives.

We Know the Way

We love music and we adore performing - so why not combine both. We couldn't see any reason to not spend an hour of our day singing and performing.

Forces of Flight

As part of our learning about Matariki and kites and all things technology, we spent last week learning about the forces involved in flight - so, of course, we had to make lots of flying things.

Puddles

The giant puddle was too tempting too resist!  We put on our togs and jumped right in. SO much fun.

Term 2 2017 - Matariki Design and Technology

Term 2 2017 and we are learning about design and technology through the theme of Matariki. The team 3 teachers have made this movie to hook the kids in to a Matariki story called Tamarereti.

Our Beach Trip

The beach was fun because we played clay fights and we found crabs.

A Term of Fun

Term 1 has been full of all sorts of fun activities. Here's a small sample of some of the wonderful things we get to do in our class.

Riding on the Bike Track

One of our favourite things to do is to ride on our brand new bike track.  We've been learning to wear our helmets, check our bikes and to make sure we've got the right clothes on.
Each time we go for a ride we have races, play games and have spectacular crashes. We really love bike riding - Thanks Mr J for our amazing bike track and thanks Whaea Saf for the cute movie.
